Its funny to think of the printing press back then was our modern day internet, it serves the purpose of entertainment, education, and documentation. He has single-handedly created a bridge through documenting history as well as giving civilization a stable foundation to branch out to record and share every bit of knowledge with the world. From lead type blocks to True Type Font files, the printing press has innovated and progressed our field and enriched our lives in every sense. Its incredible to realize the amount of designing, engineering, building, and time he has put in to produce something that we can access today with just the click of a button.
