Info Arch: Image Rendering

My image making tests comprise of vector icons, photo-shape masks, multiple perspective and cropped images, direct photography, in context shots, color tests, and illustrative styling. Each document below shows an individual tie tested in many ways to promote the best experience.


  1. It's gotta be the photographs for me. I love your colored pencil offering but that style lacks the style if you know what I mean!

  2. The combination of icon outlines with masked image are interesting and worth pursuing. If you do go down the full photography road, press those ties, they look a bit sloppy and I imagine the idea to be the opposite. Also, combining one style with another as you did with the silhouette works very well.

  3. I love the illustration!!! I think it would be great to contrast the seriousness of ties with that illustrative look. How fun! -mo
