Gill Sans Progress

This is what I have so far, Gill Sans being commissioned for the British Railway System for Clarity, I chose to use a chaotic rail map to contrast clarity. The palette is respectably high value blue for the British Railway, thrown in with a low value red for deep contrast. I will potentially add some photography and more depth of letter form to create more chaos and separate layers of type. I'm going to try my next approach for a Cup- O'Tea theme this weekend to promote Gill Sans welcoming, casual, and friendly attitude.

  1. color scheme: seems appropriate/good!

if you stick with the overall design approach—vary your line weights more. try a .25pt. overall you need more contrast big to small, dark to light...that sorta thing. turn your hyphenation ON.

good process micah! like to see the cup o tea idea
